It's February already!

Hi there

Can you believe it is February already???? I can't. Life is just too busy at the moment, but I am not complaining at all.

My country has seen terrible fires and flooding rains over the last month. It has been terrible for a lot of people. We had a long period of heat and no rain then a cyclone that dumped an incredible amount of rain on some areas of the country. The wind created during the cyclone was incredible. But I am thankful that I had no damage to my house and didn't lose electricity at all. Most of my friends did have some sort of problems caused through the cyclone.

I have had a great holiday with my extended family and it was a fantastic time. All of the great-grandchildren of my dear grandparents (who passed away some time ago) were together for the first time. They were aged from 7 months to 10 1/2 years old. Photos were taken and I hope to scrapbook them one day. Had my grandparents been alive, I am sure they would have been proud.

The family tradition has been to vacation in a camping ground right next to the beach in a country area in January. This tradition has been going for over 60 years. Since my grandparents started the tradition, their children and their familes have been continuing that tradition every year.

So scrapbooking the traditions in your family can be a great theme for a scrapbook. I plan to start mine soon and include all the photos taken over the years. It will be amazing!!!
